No one's going to admit they're wrong, just move on and fabricate CT elsewhere.

That post made completely wrong implications of what I said, which you just supported. What conspiracy did I theorize? I did exactly the opposite. I pointed out that dismissal of some incompatible versions of events was unwarranted by insufficient evidence, and that some of those versions were indeed plausible though merely asserted to be impossible. Without endorsing any of them as fact, because we don't actually know.

Some of us can let 45 minutes during the business day go by in a discussion without responding, but still post a disagreement.

      •  I should have made it clear that I thought your (0+ / 0-)

post was reasonable. I do think there are others who are commenting here who will never accept the idea that this isn't a "frame" job because "Obama and his buddies want Syria's oil, " or something like that.

The rebels are fighting amongst themselves, apparently, and it's possible the al Qaeda group might go after the Kurds or vice versa.

After they get this "Syria" thing untangled, then they need to get some kind of international resolution to the "Kurd" issue because it continues to be a poblem across 4 or 5 "countries" in the middle east.

In this case, the brother of Assad was the main suspect, possibly in a "loose cannon" episode.

At any rate I hope this Russian/UN plan works. They can hold Assad accountable for war crimes later..
