    to be overtly "political." Some of the poetry I've posted here could only be described as political in the larger sense that you referred to in your parenthetical comment. The option is always there to post a diary individually, of course, but it's nice to be able to post poetry to a group and get feedback from others looking specifically for poetry. I was looking for that and came here for it, and nobody's chided me for posting "insufficiently political" poetry here yet.

    Post whichever poems of yours here you like, and for my part, anyhow, whatever you have to share in the way of poetry is welcome. The political context, if you wish to point one out, can always come in the accompanying description, explanation, or whatever.

    My late husband knew a couple of people who died in the towers. He became angry at some of the ways those personal tragedies became manipulated and used for political ends that were inimical to the best interests of us all. He would have appreciated your poem, and though I knew no one personally who died that day, so do I. Thank you for sharing it.

    What I want to know is, who's going to pay for these crimes against humanity that those b@st@rds are perpetrating against the rest of us?
