    •  You are not open to persuasion (0+ / 0-)

You repeat your opinions endlessly, without regard for logic or facts.
You don't even acknowledge losing arguments, even though it happens to you all the time.

      •  Do you have a question for Dr. Dworkin? (1+ / 0-)

Do you have any comment or suggestion for the Physicians of Newtown?

This is a group diary profile of one of our members. It's not clear why you persist to make feeble personal attacks against the diarist, in direct violation of DailyKos Community guidelines. Thread jacking is HRable. Supporting others who thread jack is HRable.

        •  Replying to your comments is permissible (0+ / 0-)

It's a huge waste of time, as always, but it is allowed.
If you don't want to be challenged, don't comment.

Suppose you are correct and it's a waste of time. Why would you bother? Who are you trying to convince?

We can allow that maybe you were out sick on the day that civility was taught in your school. Your makeup homework assignment is to review this diary on civility and then stop and think about our courtesy statement before you post again. If you don't remember where to find our courtesy statement you can ask the hall monitor on your way out.

            •  Why do YOU bother? (0+ / 0-)

You're not persuading anyone, and people routinely outsmart you every time you try to argue.

Perhaps you were out sick the days they taught darned near everything at your school.

Dworkin. That's why I'm here. It's still not clear why there aren't other diaries at Daily Kos that interest you more than nattering on about someone who you don't think makes any persuasive arguments.

You followed someone into this diary. Why are you still here long after they left?

Some people arrive empty handed to a BYOB party and just glom onto someone they follow in the door, and then hang  out in the kitchen to the bitter end, drinking all the beer, and howling at the moon.

                YMMV

                •  I'm making it clear... (0+ / 0-)

...that you are in the wrong here.
You tell people they're not welcome to respond to you.

You are wrong. Kossacks are welcome in diaries, as long as they follow the rules... rules you freely misquote and misrepresent aqs it suits you to stifle dissent.

You don't like dissent. That's a sign of intellectual weakness, which is a common thread in your arguments.

                    your answer?

But you don't seem happy, so I'm not sure.

                    http://en.wikipedia.org/...

In the essay, Camus introduces his philosophy of the absurd: man's futile search for meaning, unity, and clarity in the face of an unintelligible world devoid of God and eternal truths or values. Does the realization of the absurd require suicide? Camus answers: "No. It requires revolt." He then outlines several approaches to the absurd life. The final chapter compares the absurdity of man's life with the situation of Sisyphus, a figure of Greek mythology who was condemned to repeat forever the same meaningless task of pushing a boulder up a mountain, only to see it roll down again. The essay concludes, "The struggle itself [...] is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy."

                    •  we agree on one thing (0+ / 0-)

Discussing anything with you is a Sisyphean task.

In fact, that was my point. Thank you for acknowledging that I am right.
