  •  Unannounced, you say. (10+ / 0-)

And yet I can find this at the diary's cited CNN link.

The incident stemmed from a visit by Shellie Zimmerman, who filed for divorce last week, and her father, David Bryant Dean. They came to the house the couple used to share to pick up some of her belongings.

George Zimmerman and his wife texted Monday morning, and she told him she was going over to the house, according to a person with whom the family shared the photos of the texts.

George Zimmerman came to the house with a friend of his and got into a heated discussion with Dean, O'Mara said.

It's a good question, why she and her attorney decided it was best to not file charges. I'm curious, but see no point in speculation. But your claims seem somewhat inaccurate.

he pulled up with in the car....was his ex-fiancee. Shellie wanted him out of that house as it actually belongs to her parents...that's why Georgie ended up punching her dad.

    •  But George was living there. (1+ / 0-)

Shellie wasn't. I know nothing about these photos of texts from an unnamed family friend. No I was wrong to conclude it was unannounced, although O'Mara says she was supposed to pick her stuff up on Saturday, not Monday. But it wouldn't surprise me if George knew she'd be there and showed up with his blonde female "friend" to push his soon-to-be ex-wife's buttons. People do shitting things during the divorce process.

BTW, the police are questioning Shellie's story.

The home was previously used as a meeting place to divvy up possessions.  However, O'Mara said Shellie turned up at the home Monday afternoon unannounced.

      •  Yes, as per your link (10+ / 0-)

the police are curious about not finding a gun...why are you quoting George Zimmerman's lawyer in reference to police questioning?

At least that article explains why George smashed her tablet,

Investigators said their focal point is now video captured on an iPad.  But, the iPad is in several pieces.  George Zimmerman smashed it during Monday's altercation.   The iPad has been sent to a team, who will work to extract the video.
and that any domestic violence charges are up to the state, not Shellie or George.
However, multiple media outlets are incorrectly reporting that Zimmerman and his wife has also declined to press charges.  According to police, because this is a domestic violence case, it is up to the state attorney's office to decide whether charges are warranted.  They must first find out who was the primary aggressor, if there was one at all.

Lake Mary Police are now calling into question several statements Shellie Zimmerman made to 911

Shellie called police to her father's home on Sprucewood Road around 2 p.m.  She claimed George punched her father in the face and threatened both of them with a gun.
"He accosted my father and then took my IPad and then smashed it and cut it with a pocketknife. I don't know what he is capable of. I am really really scared," Shellie told dispatchers.
According to authorities, Shellie's father did not have any visible injuries.
In the 911 call, Shellie asked the dispatcher to send paramedics because her father's nose looked like it was broken.
There are also other inconsistencies police pointed to on the 911.
Shellie told dispatchers that officers arrived and had their guns drawn.  She said George was sitting in his car.  Fearing George would start shooting, she told the dispatcher her and her father were going inside.

And I repeat, you mentioned police questioning and then quoted George Zimmerman's lawyer. See your comment above.

BTW, the police are questioning Shellie's story.
The home was previously used as a meeting place to divvy up possessions.  However, O'Mara said Shellie turned up at the home Monday afternoon unannounced.

              Is it deliberate?

Unfounded claims, disingenuous rhetoric and now the insult, well done. Have a good day.

                •  I'm not sure if you're being genuine. (0+ / 0-)

I posted the link to an article titled "Lake Mary Police are now calling into question several statements Shellie Zimmerman made to 911" and included a blockquote that contained:

There are also other inconsistencies police pointed to on the 911.
She claimed that her father's nose looked broken. It didn't.

She said that George threatened them with a gun. He didn't.

I made no unfounded claims, disingenuous rhetoric or insults. I was simply asking if you were being obtuse on purpose because it seems crystal clear that the police have questions about Shellie's claims.

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

question any statements George Zimmerman made to them the night he murdered Trayvon Martin - you know, statements like " Martin jumped out of the bushes and attacked me," when there were no bushes in the area where Zimmerman claimed he was attacked.

        •  if his own attorney says he had a gun (7+ / 0-)

cops earlier said he had a gun

why would people question why the cops now say they didnt find a gun

          sounds like lies to me
