    We can start with structural reforms on how resistance movements and liberal protest movements are run in this country, which are about 25-30 years overdue, IMO.

    As far as our history, I see it more as a struggle back and forth rather than unmitigated hell punctuated by one 30-yr period of "glory days." The pendulum swings back and forth, but not by itself:  always being pushed by groups of people.

    The party of Kennedy is also the party of Eastland. The party of Javits is also the party of Goldwater. Where is our party? Where is the political party that will make it unnecessary to march on Washington?
