did you ever meet someone you really liked and seemed to have it all personality-wise, but then when you got up close they just didn't smell right? Like, actually smelled kinda sour and sweaty and awful? Even right out of the shower in clean clothes?

    Very strange experience.

And then there's the one that smells really, really good, even after working out.  Marry that one.

It's got to be an evolutionary feature to keep you from fooling around with people who aren't a good genetic match.

In my tweens I chanced upon a girl working in a department store. I asked her about the location of some item and that thing happened -- that very strong pull feeling out of nowhere. Not a smell, at least not a conscious one. She was, without being judgmental, unremarkable otherwise... certainly not unattractive but someone I wouldn't otherwise have written about.

I didn't have the time to follow up on that feeling and I've always wondered...

    •  Nope. Never happened to me. But somebody... (4+ / 0-)

...may have felt that way ABOUT me.

Don't tell me what you believe, show me what you do and I will tell you what you believe.
