  •  Delicately put, (9+ / 0-)

I was in my bedroom, a little after 8AM, I heard it on the radio, I flipped on the tv, stunned. My client called, he owns a roofing company, he was stuck in traffic and asked me what it looks like, I told him, "They're going to need a new roof." I regret my glibness. I then went to the bank and in the parking lot heard about the second plane, I told the bank employees about it, saying there is suspicion it was done by Arabs. I regret my insensitivity. Not a good day. And my pet goat of a commander in chief didn't make it any better the next eight years.

I am immune to link bait. Skeptical to begin with, with a background in copywriting, cynical by nature, I cannot be fooled into any offer/deal/opportunity. No link is ever there for my benefit, only theirs.

Of all movies, I could not stand… "Let It Be," the Beatles' farewell. Too sad, gloomy, it was obvious they were unglued as a band, like watching parents pre-divorce, creepy, I'd rather just hear the songs. But I didn't drive that night (1970) so I had to wait it out. Torture. Absolutely a poor premise for a film. Can't believe I'm dissing my beloved Beatles, it just hit me hard that night, I absolutely hated it! [I generally avoid expensive dark places with hundreds of strangers and dangerous food so I rarely attend movies.]

I always get my bed in relatively good order just before I collapse in it for the night, so "yes."

Honesty is not a policy. It's a character trait.
