    could have some value in pain relief apparently is being studied, just not by Rik Dietsch. It has a certain intuitive plausibility.
    Also, it seems ironic that the overt racist Limbaugh is running ads promoting the product for its basis in "traditional Chinese medicine," and a dKos diary is ridiculing it for its origin in that "part of the world." I'm not saying that Chinese or Indian superstitions are any more plausible than Western ones, just that the origin of a practice in the same part of the world where, say, deer penis is consumed doesn't in itself discredit the practice.
