Frederick City proper was carved out of the new Van Hollen borders and given to Delaney, who is more like Mitt Romney than he is like Roscoe.

We have to get these nasty commissioners out of Frederick County. I haven't been keeping up with Carroll.

Of note, Carroll used to be part of Frederick County and then it split. Then there were big arguments about whether Uniontown or Westminster would be Carroll's county seat. Westminster won.

Contiguous West Virginia is Jefferson County, which is quite liberal.

Let's make DC a state. They have more people than those big square western places.

Has some goofball politicians running the county. Probably, as is the bipartisan Maryland tradition, corrupt to one degree or another. We are The Spiro Agnew State!

Recently three of the five were live on the radio, in violation of open meetings laws: http://www.oag.state.md.us/...

These dopes blamed everyone but themselves for getting hoist on this one. In truth, they are either too arrogant or too clueless to realize their basic legal obligations to citizens and voters. Par for the course for electeds, I suppose.

Kossacks should step up and run for office in Frederick.

      Thump! Bang. Whack-boing. It's dub!

like Kai Hagen. He got voted out. Nobody expected that.

      •  Frederick also has a Joe Arpaio wannabe sheriff (0+ / 0-)

who is illegally acting as a Section 287(g) community and arresting many undocumented immigrants, even though the Department of Homeland Security has suspended that program, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit has ruled that it's illegal to do that.

So Frederick may be on the brink of getting hammered for millions in damages for constitutional violations and civil rights violations.
