there won't be any as long as computers continue to use the current Von Neumann architecture where both data and code are kept in the same RAM.  Remember, since there is no real difference between data and code it is entirely possible to use a picture or video file to take over another person's computer.

levels anyway. I don't think these girls were taking over anyone's computer, but they were taking over someone's life. I think there are steps to be taken.

I don't think stopping and prosecuting tween cyberbullying is as esoteric as Von Neumann architecture or would require a complete restructuring of the internet.

      •  My point is that cyberbullying can also be done (2+ / 0-)

by taking over the target's computers and using them to post stuff on Facebook and such under their name or even send death threats to the president.  Not to mention the very nasty form of it known as SWATting which can easily get someone killed by the SWAT team that shows up.

Remember that the biggest act of cyberbullying around did kill people directly, ever hear of Stuxnet?
