    a couple of goats to help keep the weeds down in the horse pasture, and asked a farmer up the road who had goats about the right fencing for goats.
    He told me that first you put up 6 foot high expanded wire cattle fencing, with posts 6 feet apart. Then, on the inside of that, you string 3 strand electric fencing.
    Then, you fill the pasture with water, and if the fence holds the water in, it will keep the goats in!

      it came with a horse named Danny, a peacock, and a goat with one horn named Fred. The horse regularly broke out but the goat never left the property. I think it was the steady supply of food that kept him from wandering.
