    But it might also vary by state. Probably best to check the FAQ on your state's exchange. I don't know why you wouldn't just set it up early, though; it's not like you're going to pay more if you sign up at the beginning of November.

      give the website a little time to work the bugs and crashes out. Two weeks, maybe.

        Anyone enrolling after that will find their coverage won't start until Feb. 1. The 15th is the cutoff for coverage to start on the 1st of the following month.
