As was pointed out, there have been plenty of people on this site, including myself, and elsewhere that have talked about the culture of child rape within the Catholic Church. I don't recall anybody justifying criminalizing those statements. Certainly, Islam deals with similarly disgusting problems. Yes, including child rape.

But because making those statements incites violent responses among certain Muslim fundamentalists (as we've seen before), we should, what, acquiesce to standards of speech as dictated by those same fundamentalists? Hell no. Why? What and whose RIGHTS did she violate?

My problem is how do we deal with slander and propaganda.  When someone distracts with hideous untruth (partly what this person said) , we don't talk about real problems such as domestic rape with complete impunity, acid burning, excision etc. And a lot of it is cultural and uses religion as a smokescreen. Government can have a role but not by criminalizing; the what people of good will can do is up for debate.

of those who will only refer to The Lord using non-verbal wispy expirations of air or faint gasps,
      30 days for you.
