    Hmm ... maybe my theory that it's gravity that's not fundamental, but rather emergent (straight line through curved space-time: hard to get more "elegant" than that), might still pan out.

    Might describing particle movements and interactions in terms of geometry simplify dealing with curved spacetime?  I know that curved surfaces make some things possible that aren't possible on flat surfaces.

    Domestic politics is the continuation of civil war by other means.
