  •  fair enough (0+ / 0-)

I will be honest I don't pay close attention to Iranian politics that said this is till a sea change from just about every previous Iranian president.

    •  No it isn't. (1+ / 0-)

You just don't know much (if anything) about the Iranian presidents before Ahmedinejad.

Lamb chop, we can quibble what to call it, but I think we can both agree it's creepy.

      •  you are welcome to think as you wish (0+ / 0-)

but if you are suggesting that presidents before Ahemedinejad didn't support the development of nuclear weapons or at the very least were unwilling to publicly make the statement just made you would be factually wrong.

        •  So I take it from your very bold claim (1+ / 0-)

that you know Farsi and have studied everything Iranian presidents have said for 30 plus years.

But clearly you haven't, so, using your own words, you are factually wrong.

          •  that's a false choice (0+ / 0-)

            and frankly approaching a lie.

I have never claimed any of those things however one can know plenty about Iran and certainly enough to make the statement I made without knowing the things you claim you need to know.

I've enjoyed your diaries on the region but frankly your comment is arrogant in the extreme. If you would like to substantiate your claim then please do and yes I understand I have yet to myself but I know I can and am willing to do so provided you reciprocate.

      •  Good luck! This is the guy who said this... (0+ / 0-)
could you be more arrogantly conceited? (0+ / 0-)

Let's just for the sure hell of it assume you are right (and that's assume) what in the hell makes you think I am going to listen to you?

Do you make a habit of listening to conceited, pompous arrogant individuals on the nets? Cause that's what you sound like to me.
