    because Cruz lived in Texas for most of his life, in Canada only for the first four years of his life.

    I can't think of anyone else being called by the name of the city of their birth. Maybe it's only supposed to be funny if the person is foreign born? Hmmm. That smacks of xenophobia.

      and the so far un-tested legal question as to whather he is eligible to be President. I'll say again, it's a slam on Ted, not on Canada.  And McCain's eligibility question has been answered.

      Eligible, but not qualified, in both cases.

      I didn't write the Constitution.  See Art. 2 Sec. 1.

      If Ted is found legally eligible to run for President, then so be it, and let's see how that works out.

      In Canada's opinion, he is still a citizen. He has not renounced and filled out the application and paid the fee.

      So where's the slam?  May we reasonably ask ourselves if a dual national should be President?  I dunno.
