    Perhaps the most amusing tenet is the "once saved, always saved" so that if someone "accepts Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior" once in his life, all of his subsequent acts are irrelevant to his salvation.  Think of this as the Walmart of Faith

      It said in pencil (since quite thoroughly erased) in the front of my bible that I was saved in April (year illegible) about age 12.  Since, I've become totally non-theist.  But "once saved, always saved" is a nice motto, in the most unlikely event that there is a life-after-death.

      The Republicans are defunding, not defending, America.
