I'd take money if people would give it to me.

For all that I qualify as a Feinstein journalist-

"primary intent to investigate events and procure material" in order to inform the public by regularly gathering information through interviews and observations.
Only 8 years.  I also went to J-School and worked at a newspaper.

At my day job fixing computers I make $35 an hour.  You can't afford me.

I have spent half my life trying to get away from journalism, but I am still mired in it — a low trade and a habit worse than heroin, a strange seedy world full of misfits and drunkards and failures.

Journalism is not a profession or a trade. It is a cheap catch-all for fuckoffs and misfits-a false doorway to the backside of life, a filthy piss-ridden little hole nailed off by the building inspector, but just deep enough for a wino to curl up from the sidewalk and masturbate like a chimp in a zoo-cage.

Journalists are like lawyers that way, most of them work outside their "profession" to pay the bills.
