The clicks help, yes. Not a ton, but every little bit....

could you provide an order-of-magnitude sense of just how many ounces (!) or milli-pennies each click provides?  After all, if 100 clicks = $0.01, I don't think I'd bother.  If, however, 10 clicks = $0.02, that's beginning to arouse my reptilian brain!

specifically. You might get more info from Will's AMA from several weeks ago.

        from Will Rockafellow:

I can't tell you exactly what that ad specifically paid out, but I can tell you what we average across all the ads that are clicked and yesterday that was $0.52. For the past week, it's been $0.53, but that average is lower right now due to the holiday. August's CPC was quite a bit higher and that will go up as the end of the year gets closer.

Fry, don't be a hero! It's not covered by our health plan!

to RockWill, asking whether he was describing ~50 cents per ad for however-many clickers clicked on it, or ~50 cents per ad per click.

Don't imagine it's the latter, but once I get this last question resolved I'll stop being a pain in the neck about it.

And who knows?  I may institute a "click for the pennies for DK" effort just for the heck of it.
