  •  I know what your favorite Garcia quote is, but... (7+ / 0-)

    What's your favorite Dead show?

    And no,

    That one back in 1970-something.
...wouldn't specific enough, but I'll take whatever I can get, I guess.

    ;-P

    •  I wasn't there (5+ / 0-)

but it's my favorite bootleg. Fox Theater in Atlanta, November 30, 1980. Here's the set list. The Drums-->Space on this one is pure magic.

Of the shows I went to, Eugene, August 28, 1988. Jimmy Cliff opened. Here's that set list.

They did a great Franklin's Tower at RFK, June 14, 1991. Actually, looking back at that set list, they did some of my favorites.

      •  THAT'S what I'm talkin' 'bout. (5+ / 0-)

Franklin's Tower is one of my favorite songs. Lifts me up, every time.

Try this one from 03-30-1990, Nassau Coliseum.

You won't regret it, I promise.

And, by the way, thanks again for your tireless work, especially on the NSA issue lately.

        :)

Like Franklin's Tower, and like China Cat, and like Crazy Fingers, I hear the first few notes and just start smiling and bobbing around.
