And yeah, the messaging about the ACA was not as strong as I'd like to have seen it be. But there are exceptions. The message of no pre-exiting condition screening, which is HUGE, and being able to keep your child on your plan till 26, cut through. Both reasons folks may not like Obamacare yet---although don't even know what to like or not like about it yet---but they do not want it repealed, in majority numbers.

The bill is so large with so many elements, many that only apply to small groups, it is hard to "message" in a way that is not specific to only certain people and in certain states. There is a great deal of variance for how things work from state to state, so even trying to message any particular savings would be very difficult.

I recently had a Diary on the rec list w/my experiences so far researching what the ACA would mean for me and mine. And what I found was it will be much BETTER for us than what we have.

The best part of the diary was so many informed Kossacks who provided more info than I had to give.  In fact, if I have the time, I may write a sequel diary that bullets all the info in that thread. Much of it was SO interesting.

In the end, the best messaging will be word of mouth from those who are experiencing Obamacare.
