    that you got to witness the ceremony?  :)

    you know, it's just been so dry here... it's raining today (and  I desperately need to mow the lawn one more time for this season) but I'll take the rain today and figure out another day to do garden stuff.  It rained hard and long enough to cut through the canopy of trees!!  Now that's a good thing.  Spitting is no good (which is all I've been getting of late)

    •  Yes, I went to the ceremony..its been (7+ / 0-)

      her dream since she was a little girl in Vietnam to be an American...she has said its the best day of her life..great to see all the people there so excited and proud...We should make all americans go to a ceremony at some point...cause some have said to me whats the big deal....and the agent who spoke talked how much it means to people who live outside the US to be given the chance to be an American.  I did not realize there even was a citizenship day let alone it was the day of the ceremony. She is so funny she said, she never wanted the day to end.
