    Go to this link

    Click on the Yellow Storm in the top picture closest to Hong Kong

    When the screen opens, click on MIMIC in the left column

    You will see the "Morphed Integrated Microwave Imagery at CIMSS (MIMIC)" for the storm since September 16th.

    I love this view of storm progressions.

    Also, in the first screen above, you will see storm Papuk developing on the track behind Usagi.


    It's difficult to be happy knowing so many suffer. We must unite.

    •  CIMSS goes way beyond storm tracking (5+ / 0-)

      but interpreting the information provided by CIMSS can be challenging, even for experts.

      The morphed microwave imagery is very cool but you can't rely on the last part of recent movies where the imagery is extrapolated after the last actual satellite image.
