The Wisconsin GAB lists two Democrats as having registered gubernatorial campaign committees for the 2014 election, although neither of them are Mary Burke or Kathleen Vinehout.

One of them is Hariprasad Trivedi, who ran as an independent in the 2012 recall attempt against Walker.

The other is Marcia Mercedes Perkins, who is probably unknown even to political junkies who actually live in Wisconsin.

Additionally, Walker does have a Republican primary challenger, Steve Evans, who is listed as a write-in candidate for the GOP primary. Walker has not officially launched his re-election campaign at this time.

There are four independents: Francis Klein (campaigning as a Pirate Party candidate, but officially listed as an independent), Travis Swenby, Mary Jo Walters, and Steven Zielinski. Klein is a left-leaning independent, the views of Swenby, Walters, and Zielinski are unknown.

Democratic incumbent Doug LaFollette is apparently running for re-election to the Secretary of State's post, and he's drawn Rohn Bishop as his only Republican challenger at this time.

Republican State Treasurer Kurt Schuller announced a while back that he won't run for re-election. A Democrat by the name of Brandon White is listed as the only candidate with a registered committee for that office.

My parents made me a Democrat. Scott Walker made me a progressive.
