    I tend to think "trans" is more about what you think of yourself, gender wise, as oppose to how you feel about sex and/or sexual attractions to others.  A common misconception seem to be that a person realizing that they're trans is always because of sexual attraction they felt.  That could be the case for few, but definitely not all.
