    is that it will be Meth Damon and the rest of the WSG clan who emerge as the last men standing at the end of the series. BB has not had as a recurrent theme any hints of hope and redemption waiting in store for the characters we have all come to know and care about. I'd almost be disappointed if they grabbed a rabbit from the hat and provided a "happy" ending in any meaningful sense of the phrase.

    The evil that men do lives after them, and the evil men (and women) who enable that perpetuation cannot be eliminated with a fanciful plot twist at the end of the show. As much as I lamented the cut-to-black finish of the Sopranos, I fear that I will like the memory of BB even less.
