It is an excellent campaign issue ... if the Democratic Party, politicians, and consultants will take up the banner and fight the fight ...

Here, by the way, is perhaps the best guide for how to fight the climate fight for politicians that I have ever seen. While not perfect (it does the standard debunking errors, of highlighting myth before doing the debunking), I think it is very digestible and powerful material.

12 Events That Will Change Everything,

specifically noting the climatic impact of nuclear war (the one with the most immediate catastrophic result; others include influenza, earthquakes, rising sea levels and asteroids).  This is the one that is everybit as anthropogenic as the burning of fossil fuels.  It is also the one with 'scientific' models that are not as easily denied unlike the models of global warming due the burning of fossil fuels.

If the objective is to paint the deniers into a corner, make this a campaign issue.

note: left out of the 'guide' (the one you have referenced) are the states with nuclear weapon capability and have threatened to use it; these states are no less Villians than the Koch Bros.

Thank you for the comment and this subject.
