  •  Hi there peeps. (8+ / 0-)

I can't remember for sure when I was first online, but it was at the latest in 1992, when I started grad school. We had a rudimentary email program (Pine, I think) and there were also usenet sites I visited for research. For the life of me I can't remember the other term that once applied. I don't recall if I had an email account before getting a university one. Hmmmm. Probably. But I know it wasn't AOL.

Separating talent from opinions--Yes, though often I don't want/see a need to do so. For example, I don't feel deprived if I decide not to watch another program with Angie Harmon; there are plenty of other options/actresses to enjoy. Admittedly, I'm not that fond of her anyway! But I can't think of a tougher call right now.

I'm not fond of Dr. Seuss. I've always been more of a Margaret Wise Brown fan. She wrote lots more than Goodnight Moon, though that's pretty good. :)

I don't shop at Aldi's but I do regularly shop at Trader Joe's. Most of the time I shop at one of the local chain grocery stores, occasionally Meijer or Kroger for bulk/staples. My favorite stores are one-offs or close to that state. And I do have a lively array of farmers' markets in the area, which I frequently visit on Saturdays. The little one on the west side of town is about to shut down for the season, unfortunately, just when cider is really getting going :( I don't shop at Whole Foods very often. Too much like food pron for me.
