  •  We're still working on that.... (15+ / 0-)

There are now three 350 groups in MI -- Ann Arbor, Traverse City, and Kalamazoo. We (350) are pretty well networked.

The Climate Reality presenters are well networked. There are regional newsletters, like Shirley Kallio's covering W MI. Citizen's Climate Lobby is trying to expand in MI, but they are doing lobbying, not networking.

Michigan Environmental Council is good, but they are a good deal broader than just climate change. I am part of KEC, an MEC affiliate.

Then there's LCV, but they seem to be focused on promoting what they are doing, not mentioning what others are doing.

We have this wonderful series of 20-some amazing climate events going on  right  now in Kalamazoo, including a Bill McKibben appearance:

...but I find enviros here in Kzoo who are still unaware that they are going on! Frustrating.

Every group, especially those with staff who need to keep the donations flowing in, is most concerned with their own organizational existence, and can't or won't spend time cross-promoting.
