For weeks and months I've been hearing how their Obamacare sabotge is a disaster for Republicans. Maybe it really is.

When will we be able to tell that it is acually a disaster for them? Because in the meantime, the only effect it seems to be having is rallying the Republican base, increasing their fundraising, and making Republicans look like they have both a plan and principles. While Democrats look like they can't complete rolling out a major policy that most people still don't understand or like very much.

What actual evidence will there be that their opposition is a disaster for Republicans? Do we have to wait until November 2014?

Ted Cruz has a plan to get himself on TV and his bedrock principle is that it's important for everyone to listen to Ted Cruz.  Is that what you mean?

It might well be that the Tea Party Republicans will manage to completely undermine this country's government, sabotage the economy, and subvert the democratic structures of the Constitution and the voters such-as-they-are will reward them for it.

In which case: Congratulations!  You will likely live to see the collapse of one of the greatest nations in world history!

implemented have been received well. Starting Oct 1, the rest of the law will become widely known. Jan 1 the whole thing will be in effect, and that's when we'll get real feedback. The biggest problem are the states that have rejected the Medicaid expansion. If people in those states who are left without begin making lots of noise, perhaps their governors (or legislatures) will relent. So keep an ear out, and we'll see what happens. If it does well, Nov 2014 might be a good election for Dems.
