    Democrats lean too much on "the cult of personality" or charisma. We must keep telling our base that you're voting for legislators who believe in what you do 80%- 90% of the time, not rock stars. And, again, even a moderate/ Dem. in the South is far far better than a GOPer. And another thing. Too many of our activists keep telling the rank and file that if they don't like a candidate, they should stay home "out of protest," Political Suicide 101. I've seen this as early as 1968, even 1960, when Schlesinger had to write a pamphlet, "Kennedy or Nixon, Does it Make a Difference?" to convince liberals that the two were quite different. This country is only Rove's "central right" one if we stay home. Let's get out for Cory Booker and Terry McAuliffe.  For more on the latest political updates, read   this
