    is denser than air, and will give a different note (notes, for a four chime whistle) ...the note the whistle was tuned for.  It will sound much better, if you can figure out how to blow it with steam.

      In fact, when SF was here, they were having their big annual meeting that weekend, but it had been raining, and I figured the meadow where they were meeting would be so muddy it would not be fun to go.

      I am pretty sure somebody has a boiler. I think there are a couple of steam tractors owned by club members. There are two ways I can figure both individual tones and the chord. I can measure the tubes and do the math in calculating their frequencies. Or, I know a couple of church organists who have perfect pitch who could probably listen to it and tell me.
