    better. snark

Ever look at the design of a tee pee? A cool piece of engineering for a preliterate society. Narrow at the top, with a smoke hole, and broad at the bottom. That's because hot air rises, so the narrow top forces more hot air to stay closer to the bottom of the structure, but still allowing smoke to escape.

Stone Henge placement and how did they actually build it? We know they did, but we still argue over the specifics. Easter Island heads, etc.,

These societies weren't perfect, but they laid the foundation for more advancements in building, art, and society, that we benefit from today. That's why Scientists refer to standing on the shoulders of others in the past--Eventually you run out of linear thinkers who were familiar with the Scientific method and you run into those who proceeded the invention of that system. You don't discount them just because. Without them, the people who created that method and refined it, might not have succeeded.

Silly things like the invention of Stirrups on a saddle, or metallurgy, and the massive folk inventory we have of herbal remedies that pharmaceutical companies still look for in some preliterate societies.

Gentlemen, congratulations. You're everything we've come to expect from years of government training (Zed, MIB).
