on a reader. If it helped you, that's great. But it's important to understand what kind of person Rand was. She based her "perfect man" on a man who murdered children. This article is horrifying, but gives a valuable insight into this woman whom the GOP idolizes. http://michaelprescott.freeservers.com/...

Do you know what kind of a person George Washington was?  Or Thomas Jefferson?  Or John F. Kennedy?  Or Ken Kesey? Or Abbie Hoffman? Or Jack Kerouac? Or Jackson Browne? Or Kurt Cobain? Or ,,,,,,, (insert the name of your own hero here)

I find it interesting that women of note have to live up to a MUCH higher standard then men of... well.. men of privilege...

I don't think it's important that I (or my children, for that matter) have to agree with every gory detail in a person's life in order to like a book they wrote.

Am pretty sick of those kinda unrealistic standards that are imposed on anyone in this country who isn't white and male.

Thank you and the others who so condescendingly offered me "help".  "If it helped you, that's great,"  has been a recurring theme in these comments.  But, frankly, I don't need that kind of support.

It's about human or monster. And if you didn't want to hear from us, why did you bother to write the diary? I tried to offer additional information, thinking you might be interested in learning. Overall, we were very polite. Guess it's too much to ask for that in return.
