    about the very same thing.

"The plutocrats and the corps have radared in to the almost psychopathic opposition of the extreme Right wing GOP to pour money into their causes to fling resistance against the ACA. (As opposed to spending their time actually trying to govern the Nation... ) The money pours in from the Conservative PACs like a waterfall, resulting in massive disinformation campaigns and attack ads. Meanwhile, Progressives are inundated with endless incessant whining appeals for Money to resist the Right." - Facebook Comment
Well we're f***ng TAPPED OUT. And of course the incessant whining for donations only makes me feel like it's JUST ALL ABOUT MONEY.

I've been waiting for the Democratic party to dig in, stand up, make some noise, fight back, take a stand, on ANYTHING AT ALL. Instead of displaying a startling cluelessness, cowardice and a lack of anything resembling leadership.

And for frick's sake, get in the Media and speak up for Democratic, much less Progressive, institutions and policies. Take some spotlight back from Tea Party Grandstanding lunatics like Ted Cruz. You've allowed the GOP to set the tone, push their narrative, and pick the battles. And once in a while call them on their destructive policies and tactics.

As for us, I am showing my house today. Our income has been flat since the crash, expenses most assuredly not. We're leaving the NYC region for more affordable environs.

And my very well register as Independents when we get wherever we end up.

What th' heck do I know, I work for a living...

ARE digging in, standing up, making noise, fighting back and taking stands. They are mostly from VERY GOOD people.

I think it is unfair to gripe about a fundraising plea from Elizabeth Warren, Jeff Merkley, or Sherrod Brown (to name just a few) on the grounds that they aren't standing up for us. That may make you feel more justified in ignoring their pleas, but it;s untrue.

Luckily, I NEVER get a fundraising plea from my congresswoman, just indignant emails about what Republicans are up to. (Her email on the shutdown was so epic I posted it on my Facebook page). My district could not possibly be safer Democratic so my congresswoman doesn't need much money. She holds a couple of events you can opt to go to or not, and I imagine that money goes mainly to help colleagues. But she doesn't send email pleas.

Ed FitzGerald for governor Of Ohio. Women's lives depend on it.
