      lawsuits filed for the government violating its own federal wage laws.

      ...to national security, public safety, health and welfare would be called to work — about 1.3 million civilian employees and 1.4 million in the military.

      By law, they all must be paid.

      Then again:  

      But the law does not say when.
      Though the GOP has demonstrated its stupidity many times over the past several years, not paying the military--think about it Congress...--seems to be incredibly stupid even for them.
