  •  How again? As I understand the law they (0+ / 0-)

must spend up to 80% on actual services, 20% is theirs, right?

Well, if they want to make a million dollars profit, then what would they have to charge to get that?  I just read that Aetna, at the last minute, decided not to participate in the Exchanges here in New York.

Does this mean I loose my health insurance through my employer now?  Meaning I'll be paying the entire monthly premiums out-of-pocket from these exchanges?

I seriously won't know until I go into work on Wednesday.

    •  That Aetna won't be on the exchanges (0+ / 0-)

is irrelevant if you have employer coverage. Many insurers will still be insuring large groups like yours. They are not part of the exchanges.

You sound semi-hysterical. Why haven't you asked your employer what will be happening next year?

The exchanges are only for people who buy on the individual market. They are not for people with employer insurance, on Medicare or Medicaid or one of the other programs.

      ASK your employer!

I'm asking you to believe. Not in my ability to bring about real change in Washington ... *I'm asking you to believe in yours.* Barack Obama
