    at DoD/DHS that are considered "exempt" from being furloughed have to keep coming to work and getting paid, unless legislation later passes for back pay.

    It looks like the "Pay our Military Act" may pay these exempt civilians if they are working for DoD/Coast Guard.  However, that does not apply to the other agencies as far as I know.
