And if you're willing to settle for that, in ANY city in America (much less the ridiculously overpriced shite in DC), then you've bought the bullshit Conservatives have been trying to sell this country since Reagan. You smell that? That's your trickle-down economics, and it stinks.

Used to be most folks could expect to make 30k when first starting out in their careers, especially after college. Now you've got people with college degrees and 15 years of experience scrambling for the scraps like this job, because "something is better than nothing." No. No it's not. Demand MORE, because we deserve it.

But rich white guys who pay off the politicians keep telling us we DON'T deserve it, that we should be happy with the scraps we're getting. Easy for them to say when they've robbed this country blind so they can make $4 million just in Christmas bonuses.

We're sliding down the scale more and more towards a majority population in poverty. Nobody here should be settling, we should be PISSED.

But 28,000 looks terrific to someone who is barely above minimum wage: and it ain't gettin' any better, considering the dickheads motherfucking morons creepy horrible men GOPers the idjits keep electing.

28K may be a liveable wage in Honduras but not in the USA, and certainly not, in DC.

      RIGHT ON!
