      The senate isn't going to accept a bill that strips "Obamacare"...Reid has almost as much invested in it as Obama, after what he had to go through to get it passed...and if the blue dogs or whatever they are have stuck with the caucus to this point there's nothing to gain from bailing now, they're already on record as supporting Obamacare in the budget vote.

      And there is a danger in a veto--Obama may not have to run next year, but Democrats do, and if Obama vetoes a budget compromise he would then take at least partial ownership of the shutdown, which would let Republicans off the hook.
