is great. She runs a class at a birthing center here in Tucson that my wife goes to with our daughter. As new parents, we've found her to be a huge help. I really can't say enough good things about her.

My father-in-law does know Ron, though, and says that this is all "strategic voting" on bills Ron knows will fail, so that he can burnish his credentials as a "moderate". I just can't get behind it. On the one hand, it's basically saying that he's willfully misrepresenting his positions, which is not terribly appealing in a politician. But in addition, it really puts voters in a bind. Am I really supposed to just trust that Ron secretly supports the causes I care about? How am I supposed to make an informed vote if I have to ignore his actual record? What good are Ron's personal feelings if he's unwilling to act on them?

thing to do." In his official statement explaining why he voted with the republicans on their extortion bill, this is what he said.

Then, the next day he put out a statement condemning the shutdown and taking "congress" to task for "not doing its job." Like he was not on board with the hostage-takers! What an ass. I'm sorry but he's lost me with this crap.

He's trying to fool all of the people all of time, and whether he really believes it was "the right thing to do" or he secretly is for it and is pandering to the wingers, I do not care, it is wrong for him to say this at this time, and he was wrong to vote with the republicans on this.

This whole fiasco has given me a very low view of him. I hope he's primaried by someone who will stand up for the actual right thing, at least when it really matters.
