    ...the diary retroactively bashing everyone involved with Seaquest DSV, since that series obviously poisoned the minds of unsuspecting youth with what would become paranoid visions of a one-world government enforcing its will through singular control of the world's nuclear armament and force projection on a worldwide basis with high-tech weaponry.


    Sheesh.  Clancy was a writer.  That's it.  He wasn't the High Priest of the Military-Industrial Complex (in the name of the Lockheed, the Boeing and the Northrup Grumman, amen and pass the cash!).

    The word "parent" is supposed to be a VERB, people...

      Then the soft-reboot and it went in the tank. Still, I'd love to see some new near-future sci-fi. Alien Nation was a good example. Interestingly, being as it was on FOX, they had shockingly progressive social mores. Seriously, watch it and tell me it's not that far away from Modern Family!
