    See here's the difference we don't vote for people we vote for the parties on the federal level and our previous government went through 2 PMs (Rudd to Gilliard to Rudd) due to internal shuffling that led to the Labour party looking less than fantastic, indeed downright unruly which led to a loss of confidence right before the federal election.

    I honestly believe if we'd stuck with Julia Gilliard we'd have kept a decent party in control of the lodge despite there being a lot of dislike for her in certain circles, instead we got a man that for years couldn't say a word except no in response to government attempts to fix real problems.

    In our case unfortunately the PM had a minority government, without the assistance of independents and the Green party Labour couldn't do squat.

    Now we've got a disgustingly smug misogynistic climate denier in power purely because the voters have the memory of a Goldfish by and large, and/or buy the rhetoric of the parties.
