  •  NO SHE WASN'T (0+ / 0-)

    ARMED

    •  Of course not, but she was endangering people (0+ / 0-)

She was fleeing from police, driving incredibly recklessly, and given the location and circumstances, police were certain to act in a shoot first mode. That said, they didn't shot first. They drew their guns on her when the car was briefly stopped and she maneuvered the car to escape and sped away. That's when shooting started.

Her racial identity had nothing to do with it. Just the way she was racing through the DC streets and menacing police officers.

Surrounded by police pointing guns...seems like a pretty clear message in all languages.

          •  The film is pretty clear (0+ / 0-)

They surrounded her and ordered her to get out of the car, and she responded by maneuvering out and speeding away, endangering numerous people in the process.

She's probably not playing with a full deck, but just the same, everyone knows you don't pull a stunt like that at the White House and Capitol!

This is NOT another Zimmerman case, and it would be silly for our side to try to make it one.
