    of me asking $5000 for my car and someone offering $1000 to buy it. In that case if a deal is not done, then no one is to blame really. We simply disagree on the value of the object.

    If the price for my car is that you have to murder your family and eat them, then we know who is preventing a deal.

    So the question is, which of those 2 examples does the current situation more closely resemble. And I would wager that different people will select each of them. Republicans more likely the former and Democrats more likely the latter.

    It really depends on the value one places on the ACA.
