    after the shutdown if the state uses its funds. Apparently Arizona is the only state not to take the feds up on the offer. Got it Sneakers?

      Where does it say that in the article?  It does say this:

      It is unclear how many states will have to cut back on TANF payments, and the extent of the damage depends largely on the length of the shutdown. Some states, such as Minnesota, will be able to sustain the program for a few months by contributing their own funds and using money saved up from previous federal grants.
      That makes it sound like it's more than just Arizona that will have to cut back on payments, and that only "some states" will be able to sustain it.

      You may be right, but the information you're referencing is not in the article.
