  •  I'm not driving now, (18+ / 0-)

but we have 2003 and 2005 Honda Civics.  Of course Mr. escapee (six feet, 140 pounds, all leg) wants to drive mine (five three, fat, no legs to speak of).  All I ever asked of him was to move the seat all the way back when he got out.  He never remembered.  Squiiiish, gasp, grope for lever, move seat.

Another day.  I got up this morning and noticed that my eyes were bulging.  So did Mr. escapee.  I checked a couple of sites, all of which said "See your doctor immediately".  Off to the Doc in a Box, who said she thought I was having a stroke because the bright light of her evil torture pen was giving me flashes.  I said "But I have a partially detached retina - " .  "ER", she said.

It wasn't so bad.  It was just the pointlessness of it all.  I just had a CAT scan of my head on the 11th.  I had a full blood panel in September; no thyroid trouble.  And they did it all again (and nurses out there, sometimes when patients say "No, don't use my hand for a draw, it perforates" they know what they're talking about).

I left with a sheet on eye floaters - not even close to the problem - and instructions to see my GP and my eye doctor ASAP.

Thereby shooting one whole day right out of the water.

Now my anxiety is kinda high, and I don't know why my husband has to bear this too, and DAMN IT ALL ANYWAY.
