In Wisconsin memories of the horrors of Scott Walker faded before his recall 18 months later.

And I miss Dr. Dean's fifty-state strategy: the only truly winning strategy we had.

I am hoping (HOPING) that our ads can use their statements against them in the general next year.

In the age of YT, nothing you say will NOT be held against you: and they've provided the ammo their own damn selves, much as Mittens did with his 47 percent rant.

Meanwhile, can we get Dr. Dean back in charge? B/c these other jokers are ... not of the quality one would prefer.

      •  Howard Dean should have been (1+ / 0-)

appointed as HHS Secretary.  It was the thing that made me the most furious after the election in 2008.  He was thrown aside as were most progressives that surrounded Candidate Obama in favor of the triangulating, Third Way, pro-corporate schmucks that filled President Obamas cabinet.

I'd love him to run for President in the future.

going on! I think, as you have said many times, your Wisconsin media are very adept memory erasers.

Many people didn't approve of Walker's actions, but many of those people were also against using a recall to try to remove him. I recall polling at the time showed this conclusively.

Fill in the blank:  Good policy is good politics.  Bad policy is ___.

I see no rational reason why people should be squeamish about dumping agents of bad policy.

      •  The only reason people opposed the recall (0+ / 0-)

was that Walker campaigned against the recall (he didn't campaign on his record or actions). This guy who got his first big job as the result of a recall election did a 180 and his love for recalls and all the "freedom" that it represented, but lied to people that HIS recall was illegal.

Sadly, our poodles in the TM totally let him get away with it despite the fact that at the same time Walker was being recalled, the Mayor of Sheboygan was also being recalled because he was tipsy in public (not illegal).

All the Walker/Koch Brother anti-recall ads, the anti-recall memes promoted by the TM, were responsible for the poll results.
