The main focus in the media has been:
    1) How the Republicans are controlled by this radical fringe Tea Party.
    2) The Republicans have no idea what they are going to do next, they have no exit strategy.
3.)  So many in the media, both right and left are so perplexed why the Republicans would do this?
4.) Their focus is how this shutdown will cause irreparable damage to their party and how they are committing political suicide.
5.) Now they are forced to talk about the Koch brothers. This info is from the Ed Schultz and Bernie Sanders interview a few days ago. They blame Citizen's United that allows the billionaires to have so much power and influence in the government. What they don't talk about is how this government shutdown allows Koch Brothers and other billionaires to reach their ultimate agenda. This will allow them to get rid of the programs they hate and privatize them.Chris Matthews also talked about how Ted Cruz is brilliant and Obama has met his match.
The agencies that have the most furloughs are the education dept. 98%,the EPA is 97%,IRS is 98%. The message now is the economy is doing just fine without these non-essential employees, so why do we need them?
This shutdown is costing 1.6 billion dollars a week. So of course these agencies will have to be drastically reduced because of the budget.

      is complicit.

IT WILL TAKE A LARGE REPUBLICAN SCANDAL to rid Congress of the Koch-owned politicians.

The pundits have indicated that it would take a

to win back the House and keep the Senate

because history has proven, with only a couple of exceptions, that

The Party not holding the Executive, wins the primary election.

The Kochs will run crazy, not so crazy, moderate, and even Blue Dogs.

How can we keep this in front of voters?

And, as we speak, SCOTUS is being approached by the Right Wing to further erode campaign finance.

It's difficult to be happy knowing so many suffer. We must unite.

Once again thanks for all your hard work. Another area to look at is the significant role left wing media played in the 2010 mid-terms. The main focus of the left wing's medias  most trusted pundits/gurus were on their frustration, disappointment with Obama, criticizing him as being  so weak, ineffective,"caves in" and (gasp) was not honoring all his campaign promises. There was some mention of the obstructionism of the right and how dealing with blue dog democrats were problems, but in the next breath expected Obama to have over came this like FDR or LBJ, not mentioning they both had strong democratic majorities in congress.

Their criticisms of  Obama were so much  more potent, powerful and destructive then anything the right wing media could ever hope for. The left wing media was granted legitimacy and  trust, by the left because they were "our voice" against the evil right, courtesy of the Bush presidency.
The left wing media gave minimal if any  coverage about  how crucial and important the 2010 mid-term elections really were. The party that  won the majority in Congress and states would have the power to gerrymander their districts in 2011, and the fact that this only happens every 10 years! Of course  now all we hear about all of the problems this has caused and how the Republicans will control the house for the next 10 years because their seats are safe thanks to gerrymandering.
Instead the left wing media's message before the mid-term 2010 elections was loud and clear stay home, don't vote in order  to send Obama the message of how disappointed, angry and hurt that he wasn't living up to all of his campaign promises yet.
