  •  They'd love it! (17+ / 0-)

Even though Eleanor and Henry were almost 2 years old when we got ours, it has really helped with the whole scratching anything that stood still issue. Every one of the columns that support the various levels are covered in sisal rope. They can scratch to their hearts' content. There are 7 different individual platforms at different heights and you know how much pooties love to get up high!  There's also 2 "hidey houses" for them to curl up in. One is double wide and that's Henry's - he thinks he's invisible, LOL. The other is Eleanor's and it gets lots of sun all day long.

Henry especially loves to latch on to the lower hidey box, as I call it, and stretch his long, orange body out. But anywhere he can stretch or climb is a good thing for my boy!

My worktable is essentially a series of pine boards built across 2 saw horses with a shelf under the table. Henry especially was using the outer legs of the saw horses for his scratching posts. What a royal pain that was until I covered them all in carpet remnants.

Your babies would have an absolute ball with a pootie tree, especially as babies. They can climb and scratch and all sorts of other cool things!

I bought mine online for about 25% of what they cost in the stores. I had to assemble it myself but that was no big deal.  It was, and remains, a good investment for all 3 of us. :-)
